Day by Day Plan
Day 1
Moshi / Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Your safari begins with a morning departure from Moshi or Arusha toward Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, enter the park and begin an exciting game drive through its diverse landscapes of savannah, woodland and seasonal wetlands. Tarangire is particularly famous for its large elephant herds and magnificent baobab trees. Search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest and other wildlife before continuing to your lodge for dinner and overnight. The original itinerary lists Fanaka Lodge as the accommodation for the first night.

Day 2
Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and other wildlife, with the possibility of spotting the endangered black rhino. After the crater experience, ascend and continue toward Arusha for the end of your safari.
