Day01Your safari day runs from 08:00 to 17:00 and takes you into Arusha National Park, the closest national park to Arusha city. The park covers just 137 km², yet it packs savannah, forest, crater and lakes into one compact area. From there, travel in a 4x4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof. Your guide leads you past Ngurdoto Crater and the open plains known as the ‘Small Serengeti’.
